Most collectors truly love their Barbie dolls. There are many factors that affect the value of Barbie dolls, but no Barbie doll is more valuable than the one that holds a place in a collector's heart.
Barbie dolls that show significant wear can be less valuable and less desirable. If restoration is being considered, make sure that the restoration of the Barbie doll is done correctly, with preservation and original condition of the doll in mind. There are things you can safely do for your doll, in the way of cleaning your doll and even hair, but I do not recommend painting your doll yourself. You will find conflicting information on the internet, please be cautious. You have lots of choices. Any restoration changes made to Barbie, such as repainting, should be disclosed upon resale. Any paint applications that are done at Heartwhisper are done with liquitex removable acrylics.
I have been an artist and portrait
photographer for most of my adult life. I have been restoring and repainting Barbie for 15 years.
As the winning bidder you will pay the Buy it Now price plus the cost of shipping your doll to me and return shipping. I recommend USPS Priority Mail with Signature Confirmation or Insurance. Extra charges may apply on return shipping for insurance.
Please send the entire nude doll, not just the head. Please include with your doll, your name/ebay ID, and return address. I will contact you (via ebay messages) e-mail so we can discuss your doll's needs. My turn around time is normally about a week.
