Vintage 1965 Barbie SEW FREE #1721 MOONLIGHT N ROSES
Almost COMPLETE!
(Doll not included--sorry!)
All these pieces are included: Rose & Pink Gown, Matching Evening Coat, Silver Glitter Belt, Matching Clutch Purse, Long Light Pink Tricot Gloves and Clear Open Toe Heels with Silver Glitter. All that is missing is the Evening Scarf!
The matching Gown & Evening Coat are in excellent vintage condition. They are clean with NO noticeable stains or marks. Some of the seams are not perfectly matched and some of the original "glue" can be seen on the outside of the garments (mostly noticeable on the bodice of the gown). Both of these pieces could use a pressing -- I don't like to mess with the original vintage condition so I'll leave that for the new owner.
The Silver Glitter Belt is very nice and is attached to the gown with a single stitch in the front. It ties in a pretty bow in the back!
The little matching Clutch Purse has been "assembled" very nicely; it's really cute!
The Long Light Pink Tricot Gloves are in amazing condition and are clean with no noticeable snags. One of them does have a tiny pin hole.
Last, but certainly not least, the Clear Open Toe Heels with Silver Glitter are in great shape and still have some of their original silver glitter. They have yellowed a bit and one shoe has a split in the front that I could barely see!  One Heel is marked JAPAN & the other is unmarked -- appropriate for this era of Barbie.
