Vintage 1965 - 1968 Mattel Barbie 1040 Skooter Doll,1963 Midge Case

Two vintage 1960's Mattel Barbie doll items including one
mid-1960s Skooter Scooter number 1040 doll marked
"2, Copyright 1963 Mattel, Inc." and right foot stamped marked "Japan". The 1965-1968 doll has the early straight unbendable legs. Her face paint details are in excellent condition with almost no use and storage wear as pictured. She has her brunette hair in the original factory ponytail pony tail hairdo with both red ribbons still there. She is in overall very good to excellent condition.
One 60's red vinyl over cardboard doll case marked "Midge, Barbie's Best Friend, Copyright 1963 Mattel, Inc.". The carrying case measures 12 1/2" by 10 1/2" by 2 1/2" and has great colorful detailed pink and yellow graphics as pictured. The case is in very good complete used condition with the black plastic handle, latch, metal rod clothes hanger, etc. still there. The case shows some use wear as pictured and is in need of a cleaning. The two items display beautifully and are sold as is and as pictured with returns not accepted. .00 USPS or FedEx postage.
