Vintage Bubblecut Barbie Doll as identified in  "The Ultimate Barbie Doll Book" by Marcie Melillo.
Manufacturing markings on doll's backside read: Barbie ® / Pats. Pend / © MCMLVIII / By / Mattel / Inc. There's another mfg marking on the other side of her backside that reads: 7 and one on the bottom of her right foot that reads: Japan. Please note that the mfg wording on her backside is partly worn off and it's very worn and hard to read on her foot.
Barbie is made of vinyl, jointed at head, shoulders and hips, with factory straight legs that are not designed to bend and high heel feet. She still has some of her original factory red fingernail polish but all of her toenail polish is worn off. She has painted facial features which are original but very worn with lots of rubs. Her rooted bubblecut hair is blonde. She has factory pierced ears, but no earrings.
Also included with doll is a replacement swimsuit. Her original suit was black & white - this one is red and while untagged, is a vintage 1960's
Mattel Barbie item (but from a somewhat later Bubblecut doll).

Condition:
DOLL is not perfect, she's vintage /  previously owned & in very played with condition  - thus sold "as is" as a restoration project.
She has a large split on left side of her head (at the "neck"). Her painted facial features are very worn with lots of rubs. There's tiny splits at end of each factory ear piercing and piercings are somewhat elongated & there's a teensy dark stain or mark at bottom of left earlobe (can't tell if this is green - otherwise no green) and no nose nips.
Hair is mussed  and sticks up in back somewhat (you can see underlying scalp some in this area).
Doll's face / head and limbs etc. feel somewhat sticky to touch.
She has a large scrape with peeling on her left breast. Both arms hold a pose and all fingers are intact, but fingernail polish is worn with rubs. Her arms and legs are darker than the rest of her. Her left leg is a little shorter than the right and her legs look somewhat tweaked. All of her toenail polish is worn off. Bottom of both soles are textured for some reason with scratches, scuffs. Hard to read mfg markings on foot.
There is overall soiling with engrained grime, little stains, etc. on arms and legs. She has scratches and scuffs here and there from play. She can't stand on her own (would need a doll stand for that, which isn't included).
No perfume, air freshener or smoke scents to doll, there's a faint soap like scent.
SWIMSUIT in played with condition, sold "as is". The color is still bright, but it's missing the tag & has wrinkles, some snags and/or fabric pilling, loose hanging threads, some fraying. No perfume, air freshener or smoke scents, there's a faint soapy scent.
