European Side Part Bubble Cut Barbie.
This doll is a true platinum side part Barbie head on a pink standard Barbie body.
She is a display piece as the head is grey vinyl not pink.
The lips are repainted. The blush and eyeshadow are hand airbrushed. It looks good and she has the right ‘colour magic’ pale brown eyebrows to look authentic.
There is some evidence of the removal of verdigris at the ears from her original earrings.
The hair is a great colour and all original. Yes , she is a genuine side part, NOT a re root, but I reiterate , her lips are repainted.
The outfit is for show and not part of the sale.
The standard body is the type with no nail or toe paint. It’s in excellent condition. Pretty ‘mint’ I would say.
She is a great display doll for the collector that doesn’t have thousands of bucks to spare and everso good as an ‘cabinet doll’ in a good outfit …
